An independent data report by Best Prop Firm Guide · July 2026
We record the public Trustpilot rating and review count of every prop firm we track, once a day. We have been doing this since December 2025 — roughly 7 months and 7,030 individual snapshots across 37 firms. That history lets us see something a live star rating never shows: how a firm's reputation actually behaves over time. Here is what the data says as of July 2026.
1. Rating removals are the norm, not the exception
Trustpilot removes or suppresses a company's public star rating when it detects problems such as fake or incentivised reviews, review manipulation, or issues a consumer alert. Across our tracked firms, 19 of 37 (51%) have hit that state at some point, and 16 are in it today. A star rating you see on a prop firm's site is a snapshot — our rating-removal tracker shows who has lost theirs and when.
2. The biggest reputation collapses
The average current Trustpilot rating across the firms we track is 4.09 out of 5. But averages hide the drama. These firms saw the sharpest falls from where their rating started when we began tracking:
| Prop firm | Then | Now | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Funded Prime | 4.30 | 3.10 | -1.20 |
| Funded7 | 3.80 | 2.80 | -1.00 |
| DNA Funded | 4.00 | 3.30 | -0.70 |
| Blueberry Funded | 3.80 | 3.20 | -0.60 |
| QT Funded | 4.50 | 3.90 | -0.60 |
Not everyone slid. The biggest reputation gainers over the same window:
| Prop firm | Then | Now | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| FundedFast | 4.00 | 4.40 | +0.40 |
| FTUK | 3.80 | 4.00 | +0.20 |
| Trade The Pool | 4.40 | 4.50 | +0.10 |
3. Where the reviews are actually coming from
Review volume is a rough proxy for how much real trading activity a firm is attracting. Over our tracking window these firms added the most new Trustpilot reviews:
- Funding Pips — 25,675 new reviews
- FundedNext — 22,026 new reviews
- The 5%ers — 14,031 new reviews
- FTMO — 13,274 new reviews
- Alpha Capital — 5,870 new reviews
You can watch these movements update every month on our Trustpilot movers report.
What this means if you're choosing a prop firm
Don't trust a single star rating in isolation. Look at the trajectory: a firm whose rating is quietly sliding, or whose Trustpilot page has gone dark, is telling you something a marketing screenshot won't. Favour firms with a stable or rising rating and steady, organic review growth — and check whether the rating you're shown is actually live.
Methodology & reuse
All figures come from our own daily snapshots of each firm's public Trustpilot page, collected since December 2025 (7,030 data points). Rating-removal status is detected from Trustpilot's consumer-alert / suppressed-rating state at the time of each check. This is a factual record of what Trustpilot displayed on the dates we checked, not our own judgement of any firm. You're welcome to cite this report — please link back to this page.
