Risk & Drawdown Rules
Max Daily Loss Maximum Daily LossMaven’s daily loss limits vary by program and are measured from the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC (daily reset window). One-Step uses 3% daily drawdown, Two-Step uses 4%, and Three-Step uses 2%. Instant and Maven Mini accounts also use a 2% daily loss limit. Maximum Daily LossDaily loss limits vary by program but are always defined as a percentage of the end-of-day reference value (higher of balance or equity at 5 p.m. EST).1-Step: ~4% daily loss.2-Step / Prime 2-Step: ~5% daily loss.Rapid: 3% daily loss.Instant Lite: 2% daily loss.Instant Elite: primarily governed by a 10% total loss limit rather than a fixed daily cap.Breaching the daily loss limit at any point in the session is treated as a hard rule violation. 5
Max Total Loss Maximum Overall LossMaven’s overall loss rules depend on the account type: One-Step uses a 5% trailing max loss from the highest equity watermark; Two-Step uses an 8% static max loss from the initial balance; Three-Step uses a 3% static max loss from the initial balance. Instant and Maven Mini accounts use a 3% trailing max loss and also enforce a strict 1% maximum floating/open loss rule. Maximum Overall LossMaximum total drawdown at Blueberry Funded is static on most programs:1-Step: 6% max total loss from the starting balance.2-Step / Prime 2-Step / Synthetic: 10% max total loss.Rapid: 4% max total loss on evaluation (and typically 6% funded).Instant Lite: 4% max total loss.Instant Elite: 10% max total loss.If equity falls below the allowed loss floor at any time, the account is considered breached and closed. 6
Drawdown Type Drawdown ModelMaven combines several drawdown models depending on the program: static drawdown (fixed from initial balance) on Two-Step and Three-Step, trailing drawdown (moves with equity highs) on One-Step, Instant and Maven Mini, and daily drawdown calculated from the higher of balance/equity at 00:00 UTC. Drawdown ModelMost Blueberry Funded accounts use a static drawdown model for lifetime loss, with the maximum loss defined as a fixed percentage of the starting balance and a balance/equity snapshot used each day for daily loss. The Rapid and some instant styles effectively act like a trailing drawdown within their short evaluation windows, where the permitted loss tracks equity highs more closely and encourages faster profit protection. Trailing (dynamic drawdown calculated from the highest equity reached)
Payouts
Payout Frequency Payout FrequencyFor One-Step, Two-Step, Three-Step and Instant accounts, Maven states withdrawals can be requested every 10 business days after your first trade. Maven Mini is a 24-hour program with payouts available on-demand within the 24-hour window (single payout; account closes after the first withdrawal). Payout FrequencyFunded accounts at Blueberry Funded typically pay out every 14 days. Some account types and add-ons may allow a 7-day cycle once initial conditions are met, but bi-weekly payouts are the standard.Payout eligibility usually requires at least 3 distinct trading days with closed profit and a funded account that finishes the cycle in net profit of at least $100 after the profit split. Trading Permissions
News Trading News trading restrictions apply to evaluation and funded accounts: traders cannot open or close trades within 2 minutes before or after red-folder news events (ForexFactory), and profits generated in that window may prevent passing. Maven states the news rule does not apply to Instant and Mini accounts. Blueberry Funded enforces strict high-impact news restrictions. Traders must not open or close trades within a short window (commonly 2–10 minutes) before or after red-folder news. This includes take-profit closures as well as new orders.A stop-loss exception usually applies for trades opened several hours earlier – if a pre-set stop-loss is hit during the news window, that closure is generally allowed. News trading is allowed as long as traders comply with risk and drawdown limits. High-frequency activity around news events is prohibited.
Weekend Trades Weekend holdings are permitted for all account types (positions may be held over the weekend, subject to underlying market hours and instrument availability). Weekend and overnight holding is generally permitted. Traders may keep positions open across market close and reopen, and crypto markets can often be traded through the weekend, subject to platform hours. Some faster programs (e.g. Rapid) may impose additional weekend execution restrictions, but carrying positions is typically allowed. Overnight positions are allowed. Weekend holding depends on the selected plan, with some requiring positions to be closed before market close on Friday.
Copy Trading Copy trading from another individual is prohibited; if detected, both users may be breached/terminated. Maven treats cross-user copying and related ‘gamifying’ patterns (including reversing accounts) as cheating behavior. Copy trading is allowed only between your own Blueberry Funded accounts and via supported tools such as the Prop Firm One (PF1) integration. Copying from or to external personal accounts, signal services or other traders’ prop accounts is not permitted, nor is managing third-party money through a Blueberry Funded account. There is no formal copy-trading program. Traders are expected to trade their own strategies, and coordinated or mirrored trading is discouraged.
EA Allowed No. Maven states Expert Advisors (EAs) are not permitted across its platforms; automated trading use can prevent challenge passing and may lead to suspension/termination. Expert Advisors (EAs) and algorithmic trading bots are allowed on many accounts, provided they do not employ forbidden behaviours such as HFT, latency arbitrage, martingale, grid or hyper-scalping styles.EAs are expected to mirror how a prudent manual trader would behave under the same risk limits; systems that consistently push margins, daily loss or position stacking limits are likely to be flagged. Expert Advisors and automated strategies are permitted if they comply with the rules. High-frequency trading, scalping, and hedging strategies are not allowed.
KYC & Restrictions
KYC Required Yes Yes No
KYC Stage KYC is required when requesting a payout and may include identity, address and source-of-funds verification. Maven’s FAQ states checkout/KYC details must match government ID, only one email per person is allowed, and the payment card used must be in the trader’s name; Maven references Veriff for supported-country document coverage. As a broker-backed prop firm, Blueberry Funded must perform KYC/AML checks, especially before larger withdrawals via RiseWorks. Traders should be prepared to provide government-issued ID and, where requested, proof of address and source-of-funds information. Failure to pass KYC can lead to account closure and cancellation of pending payouts. KYC and AML verification are required before receiving a funded account and payouts. Traders must submit valid government ID, proof of address, and identity verification.
