Are there specific consistency or percentage-based rules at FunderPro?
💡 Answer
3 Percent Rule
FunderPro does not publish a universal 3% per-trade rule. Risk is primarily controlled through daily/maximum drawdown and additional policy rules (e.g., margin concentration limits on funded accounts).
Consistency Rules
Pro accounts: a Consistency Rule applies during the challenge: you cannot realize more than 45% of your profit target in a single day; excess profit increases the remaining target instead of failing the account. Classic accounts: no consistency rule (but minimum trading days apply).
Other Risk Rules
- Inactivity: if you do not place at least one trade within a 30-day period, the account can be closed.
- Margin concentration (Funded Accounts): FunderPro applies a “20% margin rule” per asset class; repeated breaches can lead to reward deductions and account closure.
- Copy trading: allowed only from accounts you own; copying other people is prohibited.
- Weekend holding: normally positions must be closed before weekend; weekend holding requires the Swing add-on.

| Risk & Drawdown Rules | |||
| Max Daily Loss | 5 | 5 | Maximum Daily LossDaily drawdown is program-based and calculated from the daily starting equity (platform server time, UTC+2). Gold uses a 4% daily drawdown. Silver, Bronze and Copper use a 5% daily drawdown. Diamond Instant has no daily drawdown (only a total drawdown limit).Daily drawdown includes both open and closed PnL; breaching it can switch the account into read-only mode and close trades. |
| Max Total Loss | 10 | 6 | Maximum Overall LossOverall drawdown is static (relative to the initial account value) and includes both open and closed PnL. Gold and Diamond Instant use a 6% max overall drawdown. Silver, Bronze and Copper use a 10% max overall drawdown. |
| Drawdown Type | Drawdown ModelFunderPro uses a balance-based daily drawdown reset and a fixed maximum drawdown measured from the initial balance (no trailing drawdown). Daily drawdown is calculated from a daily snapshot (5:00 p.m. EST / day start 00:00 GMT+3 server time depending on page context). | Trailing (dynamic drawdown calculated from the highest equity reached) | Drawdown ModelRebelsFunding uses static drawdown limits: (1) a daily drawdown that resets from a daily starting-equity snapshot (where applicable), and (2) an overall drawdown measured from the initial account equity (not a trailing high-watermark model). Diamond Instant removes the daily limit and enforces only the static overall cap. |

For standard RCF accounts, the first reward can be requested no earlier than 14 days after opening the first trade on the RCF account (and after closing trades and meeting the minimum-profit rule). For Diamond Instant, the RCF reward structure is tied to 10% minimum profit milestones (the account levels up after each 10% target). |

| Trading Permissions | |||
| News Trading | 14 | News trading is allowed as long as traders comply with risk and drawdown limits. High-frequency activity around news events is prohibited. | News trading is not stated as fully banned, but RebelsFunding recommends avoiding major releases (NFP, GDP, FOMC) and its terms prohibit opening excessive trades when significant news/macro events are planned. |
| Weekend Trades | Payout ProcessingFunderPro advertises an average reward issuing time of 8 hours (after approval). For challenge-fee credits (where applicable), fee credits are processed within 7 days of the first reward withdrawal. | Overnight positions are allowed. Weekend holding depends on the selected plan, with some requiring positions to be closed before market close on Friday. | RebelsFunding states that cryptocurrency trading is closed during weekends on RF-Trader for maintenance and platform stability reasons. Other markets follow their normal market hours (typically weekday sessions). |
| Copy Trading | FunderPro allows copy trading under strict conditions designed to ensure that all trading activity originates from the trader’s own strategies. Copy trading is permitted only between accounts owned by the same individual (including the trader’s own accounts at other prop firms or retail brokers), while copying from third-party accounts is strictly prohibited and results in a hard breach. Coordinated trading between different traders, the use of rented or mass-distributed EAs, public signal mirroring, or any form of collusion is forbidden,... | There is no formal copy-trading program. Traders are expected to trade their own strategies, and coordinated or mirrored trading is discouraged. | Copy trading is not presented as a supported feature. Strategies that hedge across linked accounts or other companies are prohibited, and trade splitting across correlated markets is treated as one “real trade” and may be flagged as suspicious behavior. |
| EA Allowed | FunderPro allows the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) and automated trading systems across supported platforms such as MT5, cTrader, and TradeLocker. However, traders are strictly required to own the strategy or source code behind any automation used. The use of third-party rented bots, closed “black box” systems, mass-distributed EAs, or automation sourced from public signal groups is prohibited, as FunderPro evaluates individual trading skill and decision-making rather than replicated strategies. | Expert Advisors and automated strategies are permitted if they comply with the rules. High-frequency trading, scalping, and hedging strategies are not allowed. | Expert Advisors/robots are not allowed on the RF-Trader training platform; RebelsFunding states it is not possible to run any EA on its training trading platform (manual trading is preferred). |
| KYC & Restrictions | |||
| KYC Required | No | No | Yes |
| KYC Stage | FunderPro requires traders to complete the Know Your Customer (KYC) verification process after passing the Challenge and before signing the funded trader agreement or receiving any payouts. Traders may participate in the Challenge phase without completing KYC; however, verification is mandatory to transition into a funded account. FunderPro advises traders to ensure they can successfully pass the KYC process before purchasing a Challenge to avoid future issues. Once documents are submitted, the verification process typically takes 24–48 hours to complete. | KYC and AML verification are required before receiving a funded account and payouts. Traders must submit valid government ID, proof of address, and identity verification. | KYC is mandatory before an RCF account is launched and rewards are paid. RebelsFunding uses electronic onboarding and verification (e.g., document upload/signing via Docusign/Eversign and identity verification via Veriff) and requires valid, non-expired government ID. |
